The Gorkha Kalika Mandir, located within the Gorkha Durbar complex, is a highly revered Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Kali. Transportation
The Gorkha Kalika Mandir is located within the Gorkha Durbar complex. Therefore, the transportation to reach it is the same as for Gorkha Durbar. Buses are the most common mode of transport from Kathmandu and Pokhara to Gorkha town. From Kathmandu, take a bus heading towards Gorkha. The journey takes approximately 5-7 hours. From Pokhara, the bus ride is shorter, around 4-5 hours. Once in Gorkha town, you'll need to hike uphill for about 1-2 hours to reach the Durbar and the Kalika Mandir. Porters are available in Gorkha town to assist with luggage.
